Description

As an Developer Marketing Manager focusing on the North American market, you will build and launch integrated marketing strategies that specifically target cloud platforms (B2B2C), developers (B2D), and start-ups. You will play a pivotal role in reaching, engaging, and converting developers, engineers, and technical founders with compelling content and events that drive Infobip brand awareness and ultimately, getting started with our API. 

You’ll be the expert in North America marketing on building an authentic and sustainable connection with this unique core audience—all while showing how our CPaaS platform can help them to quickly architect rich customer experiences within the websites, apps, and platforms they develop. Reporting to the Head of Marketing—North America, this role will work cross-functionally with in-region marketing colleagues as well as a global extended team in product marketing, developer experience, brand, and growth. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the content funnel, segments, and key personas within this core technical audience. 
  • Develop paid, owned, and earned strategies and campaigns that align messaging to key personas. 
  • Create effective, high converting content and activities that translate Infobip CPaaS solutions into real business value for the target verticals. 
  • Coordinate content development with internal team in brand & communications, events, social media, and content or external agencies and resources. 
  • Plan and manage the production of compelling content and activities including PR, blogs, articles, videos, tutorials, guides, interviews, podcasts, lunch-and-learns, meetups, workshops etc. that align to value propositions, key messaging, and both regional and global strategies. 
  • Identify spokespeople and key personalities within Infobip’s global developer experience, technical and product teams for event appearances, interviews, article quotes and blog bylines, etc.  
  • Develop content that captures key use cases and developer success stories that provide positive social proof and deepen brand equity within the key audience. 
  • Analyze, interpret and report data on the KPIs that define brand awareness and community growth. 
  • In your world, content is king and you know how to use storytelling as well as technically-focused marketing to help grow stronger developer connections in North America. 

Qualifications

  • Have 5+ years of marketing experience working with developers and engineers, and with technical founders in start-ups. You have proven marketing success in APIs and cloud platforms. Understanding CPaaS is a plus. 
  • Be a strong independent researcher and concise communicator both verbally and in writing with the ability to understand and develop messages for a wide range of issues and audiences both internally and externally. 
  • Be disciplined, organized and demonstrate the ability to lead others to success. Experience managing multiple stakeholders in a matrixed organization and how to sell in effectively your idea. 
  • Understands highly technical information and how to condense it into brief messaging, ensuring its relevance to developers, engineers and technical founders. 
  • Be able to prioritize, delegate and manage multiple, potentially conflicting tasks. 
  • Be able to work effectively with a creative, global workforce and within a virtual team. 
  • Have experience in successfully using sales and marketing systems, ad platforms, and analytics to monitor and measure results (ex. SFDC, Google Analytics). 
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where individual initiative is critical.
