Roles and Responsibilities of Sales Executive

  • Prospecting (search for prospects, local partners, distributors)
  • Creation, development and animation of networks of distributors in Kenya and in the sub-region
  • In line with the guideline of the group's sales department, organize and carry out sales meetings in the field
  • Prepare missions for colleagues and partners coming from France when they travel to Kenya or the sub-region.
  • Manage a customer portfolio
  • Analyze and understand the needs / problems of prospects and offer them the appropriate solution within the group's range
  • Report on its commercial activity: weekly reporting to be carried out
  • Teamwork (Africa / France)

Qualifications

Requirements for the Role

  • Desired training: Bachelor’s degree minimum in the commercial field
  • Experience: 5 years minimum in the sale of products to companies. Having several experiences of successful negotiations with large groups or large companies will be a big plus.
  • Skills: sales and negotiation techniques, knowing how to build a sales pitch, distributor relations, working in a multicultural environment, etc.
  • Knowing how to be: sense of contact, ease in communication, rigor in the performance of work, sense of observation, dynamism, spirit of initiative
