Main Purpose of Job

To support Engagement Manager in delivery of services to / at client premises on delegated engagement / project. 

Key Performance areas

1.    Strategic Impact

·       Supports the Engagement Manager in delivery of engagement / project, in specific area of competency

·       Raises issues with manager as identified in area of focus that may affect the quality of delivery or timelines of the engagement 

·       Identifies opportunities for follow-on work and works with management to win the business

·       Assists in development of client presentations / discussion documentation

·       Actively builds business relationships that generate leads

·       Gathers information to understand broader offerings of Deloitte and seeks opportunities for cross-selling

·       Raises solutions to address issues in area of expertise that may enhance / renew service offerings to client

2.    Client Impact: External / Internal

·       Communicates regularly with both Engagement Manager and client to meet deliverable expectations in specific area of expertise

·       Develops productive working relationships with client staff

3.    Operational Effectiveness

·       Proactively identifies client needs and problems on technical issues that arise and propose resolutions to address these

·       Manages risk in area of engagement in alignment with Deloitte policies 

·       Consistently reviews and analyses accuracy and quality of own deliverables

·       Maintains clear communication channels with engagement team members on work status

4.    Development/Growth of Team

·       Shares expertise and knowledge with team members and assists where possible to ensure quality and timeous delivery of work

·       Mentors junior members of the team

·       Maintains own development and knowledge in specialised area

5.    Budgets / Profitability

·       Maintains quality and timeous delivery as per SLA

·       Leverages experience of SAP module and architecture to design and implement solution supporting a client’s requirements

·       Supports sales pursuits within a particular SAP module

·       Leverages experience in SAP module to develop relationships with SAP

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience required

Required

·       Computer Science or Information Management Bachelors Degree

·       5 years working experience

Preferred

·       Postgraduate qualification in Computer Science or Information Management Degree

·       5 years in a client facing role, ideally in a consulting environment

·       S4HANA

·       Cloud implementations
