Description

The Legal Associate is an entry level position in each given sector of Legal Department. Legal Associate will work as a part of the team carrying out regular tasks associated with a specific sector, and under close supervision of seniors, delivers outputs in a timely and organized manner.

  • Under the guidance and support from a Senior Legal Associate and in line with Infobip's standard templates and guidance, draft and review a wide range of commercial agreements, including software and content licenses, consulting agreements, SAAS agreements (including data protection agreements), influencer and promotion agreements.
  • Adept at escalating issues to appropriate internal stakeholders.
  • Comfortable adapting templates for different needs under the direction of a Senior Legal Associate.
  • Regularly attend meetings with key legal and business stakeholders to build a knowledge of the business, support partners and determine how to prioritize work.
  • Primarily responsible to deliver expected and predefined results/outputs both in timely manner and with highest quality of service and performance.
  • Assisting on projects, initiatives and within working groups, proposing actions and measures in line with company objectives.
  • Assisting in preparation of recommendations for processes improvements.
  • Assisting in monitoring of sector related policies, procedures, guidelines and applicable regulation.

Qualifications

Hard skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law
  • Admission to the Indonesian Bar (admission to other common law jurisdiction(s) will be considered)
  • At least 1-3 years’ PQE, corporate experience involving M&A, private equity and general corporate and commercial work will be an advantage
  • Previous MNC work experience preferred
  • Basic Internal tools knowledge
  • Telecommunication industry understanding
  • Knowledge of internal processes

Soft skills:

  • Must be fluent in spoken and written English
  • Must be an Analytical thinker
  • Has Eagerness to learn
  • Strong work ethic dedicated and efficient in handling appointed assignments, good organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks in fast paced environment, solution oriented, showing initiative in taking assignments, self-driven and eager in communicating ideas.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to relate and work with people of many cultures, disciplines, and level of experience, capable to be self-assured but not self-important, respectful, trustworthy, reliable, empathic, stable, and energetic in expressing opinions.
  • Good judgment and time management skills, and can prioritize and work effectively under pressure
  • Strong commercial and business acumen, with and ability to use legal skills, judgment, and experience to achieve a practical outcome
